Every can prints a gross weight (can + gas) and a net weight (the gas you actually get). Net is the number that matters. The Indian standard is 220g, and many cheap unbranded cans hold only 180–190g at the same price. ZORACook cans are 225g. Fewer refills, longer burn time, same money. The per-can price drops sharply at four cans (₹137.25) and then barely moves until the Pack of 12 (₹133.25), which is the cheapest per can. If you want a smaller outlay, the Pack of 4 gets you almost the same per-can price as the Pack of 6.

How many grams is a ZORACook butane gas can?

225g net fill. That is above the 220g Indian standard and well above the 180–190g found in many cheap unbranded cans. Compare the net weight, not the gross weight printed next to it.

Do you sell a 250g butane can?

No. Our cans are 225g, which is the standard cassette size sold in India. 250g cans exist but are mostly imported or use a different fitting — always check that the can matches your stove's connection type before buying.

What type of butane cylinder fits ZORACook portable stoves?

Standard cassette-type butane cylinders. Do not use screw-on (threaded) canisters — they are a different standard and will not connect.

How long does a butane gas cylinder last on a portable stove?

Roughly 2–2.5 hours on a medium flame, 1–1.5 hours on a high flame, and 3+ hours on a low simmer. For a 2-day camping trip with 2 meals a day, bring 2–3 cans.

How many cans should I take on a trek?

For a two-day trek with three or four people, take two — one working can and one for margin. A solo overnight where you only boil water needs one. Cold and wind both cut real burn time, so below about 5°C plan on losing roughly a quarter of the rated time.

Which pack size is the best value?

Are butane cans refillable?

No — the cans are single-use. What gets refilled from a can is a butane torch. One can refills a torch several times.

Can these butane cans be used with a torch lighter?

Yes — ZORACook cans refill the Handheld Butane Torch and Brass Blow Torch. The same cassette-type nozzle works for both stoves and torch refills.

Is butane gas safe to store at home?

Yes, when stored correctly. Keep cans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and open flames. Do not store in a car in summer. Keep out of reach of children. Do not puncture, incinerate or use a damaged can.

Where can I buy butane gas cans online in India?
