A trigger-grip butane torch — what many people call a torch gun, flame gun or culinary torch — that puts a precise, adjustable blue flame in your hand for caramelising desserts, searing meat, charring peppers, melting cheese, dhungar smoking, lighting coals and small workshop jobs.

Features

  • One tool, many jobs — crème brûlée, BBQ searing, roti roasting, dhungar smoke, light soldering and quick kitchen tasks.
  • Adjustable blue flame — dial it up for searing, down for delicate caramelising.
  • Ergonomic trigger grip — comfortable one-handed use over a hot pan.
  • Built-in safety lock — prevents accidental ignition in a drawer.
  • Refillable — tops up with standard butane gas, so one tool lasts for years. No batteries, no disposables.
  • Shares fuel with our stoves — one ₹199 ZORACook 225g can refills it many times over.

Butane gas is sold separately — a ZORACook 225g Butane Gas Canister is ₹199 and refills the torch many times over. Want the fuel in the same box? The torch + 1 can combo is ₹399 (saves ₹38), and there are 2-can, 3-can and 4-can versions that save more.

How to use

  1. Fill it first. The torch ships empty. With the torch off and completely cool, hold it upside down and the butane can upright, press the can's nozzle into the refill valve for 5–10 seconds, then wait about 2 minutes before lighting so the gas settles.
  2. Release the safety lock. Disengage the lock before attempting ignition.
  3. Ignite and set the flame. Press the trigger to light, then adjust the flame control — low and soft for caramelising, tight blue jet for searing and coals.
  4. Work in short passes. Keep the torch moving 3–5 cm above the surface rather than holding it in one spot.
  5. Shut down. Release the trigger, engage the safety lock, and let the nozzle cool fully before storing or refilling.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best butane torch under ₹500 in India for kitchen use?

The ZORACook Handheld Butane Torch at ₹238 and the ZORACook Brass Blow Torch at ₹219 are both well under ₹500, and both have adjustable flames. The handheld torch (₹238) has a safety lock and an ergonomic trigger grip built for kitchen use; the Brass Blow Torch (₹219) is solid brass and doubles as a workshop tool.

What fuel does it use?

Standard refillable butane gas — the same 225g cans sold for kitchen torches, lighters and portable stoves.

Is the gas included?

No, butane is sold separately so you can choose how much to stock. One ₹199 can refills the torch many times. Or buy a combo with fuel included.

Can I use it for crème brûlée and desserts?

Yes — turn the flame low for an even caramelised top, and higher for searing and charring.

Is a torch gun the same as a culinary torch?

Yes. Torch gun, flame gun, culinary torch and kitchen blow torch all describe this kind of trigger-grip butane torch. Note it is a butane torch, not an LPG torch gun — it does not connect to an LPG cylinder.

Does it have a safety lock?

Yes, it has a safety lock and adjustable flame control.

Which payment methods do you accept?

All of them — cash on delivery, UPI, credit and debit cards, wallets and net banking. Delivery is free across India with no minimum order value.
