Which Kitchen Tool Do You Actually Need?

If you only buy one thing, make it a piezo gas lighter — it replaces the ₹40 plastic lighter you currently rebuy three times a year, and it is rated for 10,000+ sparks. If you light diyas or agarbatti, add the Arc BBQ Lighter: a spark lighter will not do that job. If you cook — searing, caramelising, dhungar smoking — a butane torch earns its place. And if your building has power cuts or LPG delays, a portable butane stove is the only tool here that keeps you cooking when the mains supply stops.

Frequently Asked Questions

What kitchen tools does ZORACook sell?

ZORACook makes flame and ignition tools for Indian kitchens: piezo gas lighters, USB rechargeable arc lighters, refillable butane torches, portable butane gas stoves, and the 225g butane cylinders that run them. ZORACook does not currently stock knives, cookware or weighing scales.

Which kitchen tool is the best value for an Indian kitchen?

A piezo-electronic gas lighter at ₹129. Rated for 10,000+ sparks with no batteries and no gas to refill, it replaces disposable plastic lighters that typically fail within 3–6 months — so it pays for itself within the first year of daily use.

Do ZORACook kitchen tools need gas or batteries?

It depends on the tool. Piezo gas lighters need neither — the spark is generated mechanically. The Arc BBQ Lighter is USB rechargeable and gives about 200 ignitions per full charge. Butane torches and portable stoves run on standard cassette-type 225g butane cylinders, sold separately from ₹199.

Are ZORACook kitchen tools safe to use around children?

All flame and ignition tools should be stored out of reach of children. The Handheld Butane Torch includes a physical safety lock to prevent accidental ignition. Never leave a lit torch or stove unattended, and use gas products only in well-ventilated areas.

Which payment methods do you accept?

All of them — cash on delivery, UPI, credit and debit cards, wallets and net banking. Delivery is free across India with no minimum order value.
