Will it solder copper pipe? For small jobs, yes — a butane flame easily melts plumbing solder and handles ½" copper joints. How to use

1. Fill it first. The torch ships empty. Turn it off, let it be completely cool, hold it upside down with the butane can upright, press the can's nozzle into the base valve for 5–10 seconds, then wait about 2 minutes before lighting.
2. Set your workspace. Work in a well-ventilated area on a heat-safe surface, clear of paper, cloth and anything flammable.
3. Open the valve and ignite. Turn the gas valve slightly and light the nozzle, keeping it pointed away from your face and hands.
4. Dial the flame. A soft flame for sugar and finishing; a tight blue jet for soldering and stubborn charcoal.
5. Shut down. Close the valve fully and let the nozzle cool completely before setting it down, storing it or refilling.

• Butane produces a real, high-temperature flame — treat it as you would any open flame.
• Use only in a well-ventilated area, away from your face, hair, clothing and anything flammable.
• Never leave a lit torch unattended, and never point it at a person.
• When soldering, the metal stays dangerously hot for minutes after the flame is off — do not touch it.
• Allow the nozzle to cool fully before storing or refilling. Refill only when cool and away from any flame.
• Store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
• Do not puncture or modify the torch, or expose it to temperatures above those stated on the gas refill.
• Keep out of reach of children. Adult use only.
