ZoraCook Brass Blow Torch — Refillable Butane Torch for Kitchen, BBQ, Soldering & Plumbing (Adjustable Flame)
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.
One brass flame for the kitchen and the toolbox. A solid brass handheld blow torch with an adjustable valve, refillable with standard butane gas. Dial a soft tip for crème brûlée or a focused jet for soldering — one durable tool instead of three flimsy ones.
What you can do with it
- Kitchen: caramelise crème brûlée, sear meat, blister peppers, and add dhungar (smoky) flavour.
- BBQ & outdoors: light charcoal and start a grill quickly without lighter fluid.
- Workshop: light soldering of small copper joints (up to ~15 mm / ½"), loosening seized fittings, and small DIY tasks.
Why brass
The brass body is heavier and more durable than thin plastic torches, with an adjustable valve so you can set the flame from a soft tip to a focused jet for the job at hand.
Will it solder copper pipe?
For small jobs, yes — a butane flame (~1,300–1,430°C) easily melts plumbing solder and handles ½" copper joints. For ¾"+ pipe or full plumbing runs, a propane/MAPP torch is the better tool. Full honest guide: Can you solder copper pipe with a butane blow torch?
Is this the right torch for you?
Choose the Brass Blow Torch if you want a sturdy, refillable metal tool that handles both kitchen and workshop use. If you mainly want a compact dessert-and-searing torch for the kitchen, the ZoraCook Handheld Butane Torch (Rs.238) may suit you better.
Fuel & refilling
Refillable with standard butane gas, sold separately — one ZoraCook Portable Butane Gas Cylinder (Rs.169) refills the torch many times. The torch ships empty for safe transport; fill it before first use. Refill only when the torch is completely cool and away from any flame.

Safety
Butane produces a real, high-temperature flame. Use only in a well-ventilated area, keep away from your face, hair, clothing and anything flammable, and never leave a lit torch unattended. When soldering, the metal stays dangerously hot for minutes after the flame is off — don't touch it. Allow the nozzle to cool fully before storing or refilling. Store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Keep out of reach of children. Do not puncture, modify, or expose the torch to temperatures above those stated on the gas refill.
Frequently Asked Questions
