How to use
- Mount it on a can. With the torch switched off, mount it on top of one of the 225g cans, outdoors or in a well-ventilated space away from any flame or spark.
- Ignite and set the flame. Press the trigger to light, then adjust — low and soft for caramelising, tight blue jet for searing and coals.
- Work in short passes. Keep the torch moving 5–7 cm (2–3 inches) above the surface rather than holding it in one spot.
- Shut down. Release the trigger, turn the gas knob off, and let the nozzle cool fully before removing it from the can or storing it.
For smoky flavour: dhungar technique.
Safety instructions
- This is a flame tool reaching about 1,300°C — treat it accordingly.
- Use in a well-ventilated area, away from curtains, paper, cloth and anything flammable.
- Never point the flame at people, pets, or at a gas can.
- Never leave a lit torch unattended, and switch it off when it is not in use.
- Mount it on or remove it from a can only when the torch is switched off, completely cool and away from any flame. Keep spare cans well clear.
- Let the nozzle cool fully before storing — it stays hot for several minutes.
- Store the four cans together, upright, below 40°C, out of direct sunlight and away from the stove. Never in a parked car in summer, and never puncture or incinerate a can.
- Keep out of reach of children. Adult use only.

Frequently asked questions
Are the gas cans included?
Yes — four 225g butane canisters ship with the torch. The torch mounts straight on top of a can, so you can use it as soon as it arrives.
How much do I save versus buying separately?
The torch (₹238) plus four cans (₹796) come to ₹1,034 separately. This combo is ₹799 — a ₹235 saving, in one delivery.
Is four cans too much for a torch alone?
Each 225g can is a lot of fuel for a torch used in short bursts, so four cans is a long supply. It makes most sense if you also run a portable stove on the same cans, or use the torch several times a week.
Is a torch gun the same as a culinary torch?
Yes. Torch gun, flame gun, culinary torch and kitchen blow torch all describe this trigger-grip butane torch. It is butane, not LPG — it does not connect to an LPG cylinder.
Do butane cans expire?
Unopened cans stored upright in a cool, dry place keep for years. Check each can for dents, rust or a damaged rim before use and discard any that look compromised.
